I am getting some kind of white noise or static on the left channel. Seems like the left channel nob is a lil more stifer then the right channel. Any thoughts? I've tried different cables.

Have you tried contact cleaner yet? Could be a dirty "pot" and needing more force to adjust the pot leads me to believe you have some foreign crud that has worked its way into the pot.
