AD1000 & nbox
« on: January 09, 2006, 07:29:36 PM »
Anyone ever use an ad1000 with an nbox or is there any reason why this wouldn't be a good combination?  Would there be a noticable difference from nbox > ua-5 (rca-in) vs.nbox >ad1000 ?  Also, any idea of the lifespan for the crystal in the ad1000?

thanks!

the lifespan depends on how heavily it was used before you acquired the device.
if it sat on a shelf for a few years, then you may be working with some borrowed time.

basically in short, there is no way to tell the lifespan without opening the box, and there aren't many that will still work on the ad1000 (paul plotnick @ pro-digital, maybe?)

I really liked running the nbox with the Ad1000. It sounded great go for it...
