Tekkeon MP3450 and FR2-LE
« on: November 30, 2007, 03:02:57 PM »
I am looking to get remote power for my new FR2-LE and saw the Tekkeon MP3450, read favorable things on it and liked the size and form factor. Are there better choices for my new baby?

I can get at NewEgg for $118. Good price?

Has anyone used this combination? If so how has it worked out for you?

Newbie building a rig and full of questions, thanks for all the help,

Tim

Why not just get one of those 7.2V RC type batteries? One of these should give you enough juice.

I do not have the FR2LE in hand, how will the battery connect? Do i need another adapter?

All for saving money, the wife certainly will support me on that.

a tamiya style connector comes standard on the fr2le.. just google "tamiya"..     and yes you will need a charger...

Yeah you shouldn't need any kind adapter. That's one of the very cool things about the FR2-LE. I would suggest getting a smart charger, but that's me.
