I Need help
« on: March 18, 2014, 04:35:07 PM »
I taped  Magic Beans and Twiddle members last night. Everything went well and the tape sounds fine. I got a new battery cable today from Ted and I went to check it out and my Apogee MiniMe wont turn on now. I ran AC power last night and dont recall anything going wrong. Ive tried my 6v SLA, my tekkeon, and AC power and nothing. smells like something is burnt. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone know who I can send it to to have it checked out? Thanks for the help. Im so bummed right now

Sorry man, you let the smoke out... :(    Did it smoke when you hooked up the new cable?  Don't keep applying power to it in any way.

It didn't smoke. It didn't do anything. I smelled it and that's when I noticed that burnt smell. I called Apogee support, they said the can fix it for $150+$25 shipping. Out of the game until I get it back. Sucks but at least I didn't have to buy a replacement

You're right, not out of the game. Injured but can still play, I guess is more realistic
