If I'm calculating the runtime for an MP-2 @ 48v phantom using (2) 2500mAh Ni-MH AA:

Do I add the battery capacity of each battery?

          [(2500 + 2500) / 750] * (.80) = 5.34hrs

Or does the capacity stay at the amount of 1 battery?

          (2500 / 750) * (.80) = 2.67hrs

The latter:

(2500 / 750) * (.80) = 2.67hrs

But you should run some field-simulation tests to find out exactly what run-times to expect using your gear.  The above is strictly an estimate, and may be significantly off from your actual results due to different microphones drawing higher or lower current.
