UA-5 SLA ?
« on: June 06, 2004, 03:50:47 PM »
SO I got the Jb3 all figured out using the walmart adaptor.

Now My ? is to reverse polarity on the Adapta-plug for use wiht the UA-5 .

I just need to reverse the way the plug fit's into the cable correct?

now it is Tip = (+)

so If i rotate the tip 180 degrees it will make the tip or the metal band/ring around the adapta-plug (-) ? Do I have this correct.

thanks for the help folks.

Nick

Sounds right.  Never hurts to check with a voltmeter!!

yes use a multimeter, see whats positive and negative, and compare it to the back of the UA-5, it has a legend there i beleive, and if not, look on the powersupply that came with it, it will show you whats + and - good luck.
