If I were to return my DR-40 for a DR-100MKii, would I notice much of a difference in sound quality when using senn. wireless lav mics via XLR? I'm using the recorder for video work and found the DR-40 to be finicky, sometimes exhibiting an "helicopter noise" in the background.
I'm a newbie to sound, so I feel kind of stupid asking this.
