I want to find a bag that is better suited for my small active rig (lemosax, MKx, KCY, m-10) than the one I am currently using. I want it to be as small as possible and offer a bit more protection that what I am currently using. Does anyone have a good suggestion?
Thanks,
Jesse

I had to google the sonosax to see what size it is.
This camera bag may be suitable:

Buggered if I can remember who makes it, and I'm currently separated from it by 1000 miles..

what bag are you currently using?

Lowepro Advetura 170

It works great for my smallest footprint scenario
DR-60D, 12ft active cables, 12ft patch cables, active bar, mics, shockmounts and clamp, some extras.

Honestly, not even sure, it is a sling style bag my wife used to use hiking. It has no padding whatsoever.

I like the looks of that. I might even be able to get away with the 140..

This might not work for you, but this is what I use (the Black version). It works like a charm for me. It is insulated, so it works somewhat like a standard camera bag. I have a couple camera bag padded inserts in there to separate gear.

This one looks pretty good. Pretty inexpensive, too..

I recommend the Lowepro Adventura 170 as well. I have two. One actually has a camera in it... the other is my go to bag for anytime I need a small footprint.
Works great for Tinybox, M10, KCY + extension, Shure WS-81s (travel with caps on KCY inserted into the shures), delrin ORTF or DIN bar in rycote mount, clamp to attach to stand, etc
They usually stock them at Best Buy (or at least used to) so you might be able to see one in person fairly easily.
^^^ That Case Logic bag looks similar but a bit narrower. Maybe you can see them in person to compare. For me i really need to do that.

This is what I use. Holds DR-70D, FP24, M10, 4 small shock mounts, cigar caddy with 4 small mics, side pockets each just big enough for a super clamp. Only thing that doesn't fit are my 25' XLR cables.

Petrol PS607. Or whatever the Sachtler version is called. I use one to hold an Aerco, an M10, and a Pelican box for my mics/clips. Cables fit in the side pockets and the front pocket has room for batteries/cards/cable ties/etc. There is a back pocket, with cable routing to the main compartment, for an external battery.

I second this or any of the variations like it. I think mine's a 180, but still quite small.

I use this one as well. Recently I put a DR-60D, DR-70D, Two pairs of mics, 2x USB batteries, 15' XLRs, 18" XLRs, Sony A3000 camera, Canon camcorder,a bag of adapters and fittings and two windtech clamps in it. Thinking of grabbing the medium size for when I'm not running so much gear.

I ended up getting the Adventura 120. Nice and compact with just enough room for my small set up!
