Title: zoom h2 sd card question
Post by: pdastoor on November 20, 2010, 01:21:29 AM
I was looking on ebay to buy one of these, I read in the description that the max SD card capacity the zoom h2 can handle is a 4GB SD Card, however somewhere else I read that it the max capacity is 32GB SD Card.

Anyone who owns one of these, does a zoom H2 work with a 32GB SDHC? Also does it have simultaneous recording? Meaning if I reach the max size for a wav (2 GB) does it stop recording, or does it continue recording a new file without missing a single second. Wouldn't wanna have a few minor cuts you know.

thanks

I've run 8 GB and 16 GB sdhc Sandisk cards in mine without problems. It just takes a bit longer to boot up with cards that large.

And I have read that it records gapless files when the 2 GB limit is reached with the most recent firmware but I never checked that.

The H2's recent firmware does allow uninterrupted recording, and use of 32GB SDHC cards.
