PSP-3 vs V2
« on: October 10, 2004, 10:53:25 AM »
I was thinking about trading my v2 for crunchy's psp3.  How does the v2 sound different from the psp3?  FWIW I run MBHO>V2>Minime. Thanks,
Ed

Why not do a trial trade and if both happy then done deal... if one is not happy then knowledge gained at both ends...The V2 is a cleaner pre but is larger but you know that since you own one.... I had a psp-3 for about 1 week and returned it for a V2...
go for the trial trade.

I've always thought the psp-3 seemed kind of bright and brittle, but I have not used one, just what my ears tell me.  That said, I am guessing you would like it or not based more on the mics used than antying else!
