Was I wrong in assuming that all the .zip's @ http://199.224.117.240/~scb/index.php were windows files and the .gz were Mac files?

excellent, another +T for all your efforts, Scott.

I am trying it out right now.  24/48 show, set 1 goes to group 1, and I put set 2 into group 2.  I'm sure it'll work great, but I'll post if anything strange comes up.

now, with the full 9 groups, this is more functional than Discwelder Bronze. :)

There is word out on using a still or montage in the video directories to assist in gapless playback on some machines.
Anyone know how to do this and if it works ?

It's a samsung (I don't have the model # with me) that supports nearly everything  DVD-A, SACD, MP3, CD, DVD, etc...I assume the gap is in the image as I just mount the image using Scott's program and then burn the image with Nero to DVD...

Samsung HD-841...that is the unit I had and it plays all DVD-As back with gaps...it is a buffer issue with those units.  Also exists with the Toshiba 4960 (same unit, just rebranded)

the image from my app has no gaps.  if you have gaps, it's your player

I have the toshiba 4960 and it is kind of random regarding gaps. I mentioned this in the other thread tho. If I add a DVD Picture track to the DVD-A disc when creating the DVDA in wavelab then I DO NOT get gaps in playback. I have tested it a bunch of times and it seems to "fix" the issue of gaps. Can you add a picture track using DVD-Audiofile ?

Used it last night for Skalinder's 24bit MMJ FLAC and burned my first DVD-A ;D This program is just what a computer dope like me needed. I do have a gap issue with my Toshiba 4900 though. If adding a picture would fix this, that would be a great addition to the program.

Thanks Scott.

the developer of the underlying command line program says he can't do any further development. putting picture support in would mean relearning c and coding something up

maybe i'll try to start with porting the app to java...
