Assuming you have one of those universal smart chargers, check to see if the fuse is blown.  It should be in a little plastic housing about 1/2 way down the wiring that connects the battery to the charger.

i wonder if one of the cells went bad or something

top
looks like the issue is def in the battery (as if i was not sure)
because today i plugged in the charger and noticed i didn't plug the battery in first the red/green/red/green blinks did there thing and went out
so for whatever reason the charger is not seeing that the battery is plugged in
i plugged the battery in and moved the cables around with no luck
guess its trashed

Exact same thing happened to one of mine recently. Had to toss it.

Then my other battery showed a full charge too soon (green light on in minutes) and it conked out 10 minutes into a show. Fotunately I was also running a 2nd system. I seem to have gotten around that issue by leaving the battery connected to the charger over night even though the green light came on again very quickly. I made a test and it recorded 6 hours and still had juice left.

Neither of the above issues ever happened to me before.
