Some Darktrain Cable > R4 Pro Pics
« on: May 25, 2010, 11:20:47 AM »
Goofing around, so thought I'd post up some pics of the cables that Darktrain made for me to let me run my new R4 Pro in my bag without any hassles whatsoever...

First shot is of the R4 Pro battery cable that Robb made...one end is a 4-pin XLR and the other end is a standard Wally World battery connector...

This second shot is of course the four XLR interconnects on the other side of the R4 Pro...

Final shot is how it all looks sitting in my new LowePro Magnum bag...

I like.  Didn't know that the R4 PRO used a 4pin XLR for power.  Looks great man.

Looking good Steve.

That Magnum sure is a beast isn't it!   Had to take the side pockets off of mine to get it to fit anywhere.

So far, I like it alot though.  Personally, I don't find it over large...but it definitely has enough room that I can fit everything I wanna take into it without having to squeeze every square mm of space out of the bag.  Mainly, it zips up tight so that I don't have to worry about anything falling out.  It's got enough buffer area that I can keep metal parts separated from plastic parts, and it's got enough pockets that I can keep everything in it's proper place.  Then the rain fly and the zipper flaps are the icing on the cake.
