TEAC DAP-20 - recording line-in
« on: October 09, 2005, 01:29:49 PM »
I have a few masters I recorded with this deck via line-in. I have been told that the deck records with emphasis this way(correct?), so what is the best way to de-emphasize the masters? The deck is not playing back clean(diginoise), and I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer to my hard drive from a different deck, and then de-emphasize on the 'puter. Also, if I get the deck fixed, does it automatically de-emphasize the masters when I transfer through the s/pdif out > computer? Please help...
