Topic: V2 power draw when off? plugged in

Does anyone have experience leaving a V2 plugged into a power source for days/weeks?  Does it draw power over time?

My policy is to always remove batteries from field gear when it is not in use.  Circuits do leak, and batteries may leak chemistry.  It is good practice to make a habit of removing batteries.

My V2 is powered only for the job at hand.  Keeps batteries fresh, too.

I've done it with the v3 but that's not a v2.  You could check the power cable with an ohmmeter to see if the circuit is completely open...  As others mentioned, the safe thing is to disconnect.  Though disconnecting can cause wear and tear on the connection.  Another option would be to put a good quality switch in the battery cable.   I assume the wally world lithiums have protection circuits built in to prevent deep discharge.

A lot of psp2's were ruined when battery sleds were left installed.  I'd guess the psp2 has a drain that discharges the sled even when off, and fully discharged batteries tend to leak.
