Had this issue last night, tape would NOT eject, little tape access light deal was constantly flashing.. looked like the tape wouldn't wind on one of the sprocket deals...couldn't shut down the deck w/o having to pull the power...
BUT... managed to get it out once I got home, dunno if anyone has had this particular issue as well, but here is how it came out.
with unit powered off, holding the eject button, hit power. tape popped right out! no surprises with tape being eaten, etc..
Just incase someone else has this issue...
