Title: Sound Proofing and Bass Decoupling
Post by: Chilly Brioschi on April 02, 2016, 07:40:25 AM
I need to sound proof a small space, bigger than a microphone encasement, but smaller than a room.  About 2' x 2' x 3'
Bass decoupling is a primary need, as I'm trying to eliminate truck rumble as well as ambient sound.

How to best do this without a rock star budget?

Probably depends how handy you are.  There are the big budget things like the whisper room brand or similar brands that make custom enclosures, but those will almost definitely run you a few grand.  I would imagine some sort of dual layered wall build with the interior covered in acoustic foam resting on a shock resistant base would do the trick lol
