Awesome, thanks a lot for the heads up!!!!!!!!!!  I was really, really, really hoping that they would come up with something under the Transporter that did 24/96 and it looks like this will be just the ticket.  There have been a ton of Transporters up on Audiogon recently at around $1250 and it was looking pretty tempting, it made me wonder if there was something new on the horizon.  Definitely signing up for one of those for sure...

Will be interesting to find out if it's 24/96 on the digital out.  Looking forward to seeing more.
Yes, but what do you HEAR?

Yeah, I was reading "supports 24/96" as meaning that it would stream 24/96 to the digi out but I haven't been able to find anything that confirms this.  If it does and it works well it's going to be a winner for sure.  I emailed the dealer that I bought my SB3 from to see if he knew but no response yet.  I'm sure that specs will come out before too long.

Site has been updated to show two new devices.  The Touch and Radio

http://www.logitechsqueezebox.com/

The new Touch has an SD slot, to play music, which is a pretty nice feature.

I just took a peek at the forums on the logitech website and there is a forum just for the touch.  It appears as though they are saying that this unit will handle and pass 24/96 native either to it's own analog outs or to an external DAC.  Definitely a win for anyone with 96/24 masters wanting an easy way to play them back.  Great news for sure!

http://www.crunchgear.com/2009/09/03/logitech-announces-two-new-products-squeezebox-radio-and-squeezebox-touch/

"The Logitech Squeezebox Touch Wi-Fi music player is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe
beginning in December for a suggested retail price of $299.99 (U.S.)."

Also nice thing is that it supports USB drives so you don't have to keep your "media server" on all the time if you want to play FLACs.

Thought I would revisit this topic as opposed to the one in the Retail Sales forum...

Arrived a couple days ago and just got it hooked up.  Got my account set up, full access to my drives, setup the LMA app and currently streaming 6/6/92 GD and completely loving it!    8)  Love the whole touch screen interface!

Best gadget I have purchased, ever.  IPod x 10 on a satisfaction level.

Whole new world for me.  And well worth the wait!

Any feedback from other new owners?
