colin....ive not seen that one before, but a bud of mine has something similar to link his receiver to his pc for accessing tunes and videos on the tv....for this price, youve got to try it out if you are interested in it....he has had his for a few years and his was 2x that cost and does 1/2 the functions...these things are cool, i just dont have any experience with this make/model....get one and let us know  ;D

Got it yesterday.  Not sure what is in this little box, but it is pretty freakin cool.  Plug in a external USB drive and it instantly shows up on your TV.  You can scroll through files and play DVDs off the hard drive, or a CF card or micro drive.  So far its pretty cool, but as lightweight as it is, I can't believe it has more than $20 in parts.  Its kind of like a glorified card reader that has video and audio out puts.

Alright so far it sucks.  Won't play from CF card slot.  Plays from USB drive but skips every second.  Haven't tried the LAN yet.

Got it to play off the CF card, but still can't get it to work with the USB.  This thing has potential for sure.
They promise firmware upgrades to fix all the problems.... ::)
