P&S Camera Lightstand Clamp
« on: August 17, 2010, 09:40:30 AM »
I have a Lumix ZX3 which I'd like to clamp to my lightstand I have my mics mounted to. Anyone have a recommendation for a small, light weight clamp that would attach to one of the lightstand risers. I'm wanting to clamp to the riser well below the mic t-bar.

I think that would probably work great for you. REI used to sell it but I can't find it online. The clamp is called the UltraClamp, as you see on the website.

One thing to note is that the pad that is attached to the screw seems to get stuck so you don't want to over tighten or else it is very difficult to take off whatever you're clamped to.
Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

Thanks! That looks like just what I need.
