I have the 603 bodies (not the actives) and the card caps. I've been able to run them in ORTF once. Aside from some weird positioning issues and a strange setup of the venue, I quite liked the results and would like to run them that way in some other locations. However, when I did run them like that, the bodies were largely hanging out in the open (in order to get the 17 cm distance) and the whole situation was somewhat uncomfortable for me as I didn't like how everything was sitting. I'm using the Shure A27M vert bar and AT8410a shockmounts. If I want to run them in ORTF with greater ease of mind, should I get either a new bar or new shocks? And if so, which ones? Are there any other people who run the 603 bodies in ORTF regularly, and if so, what equipment do you use? Thanks.
