So use a recorder that utilizes a SD card and then listen to the music on the way home from the show?

They generally will not play Wav files.......I have a sony with usb, and it will only do mp3 and wma

I did get a HD tuner for it for $50...........HD stands for Huge Disapointment if you live outside the beltway :'(

It seems like anything with a line in is good enough. You can always use your deck to play back the files..
