Interesting possibilities but several years before it'll be on the market and even longer before it's affordable. But a recording device wrapped/housed in it's own battery is intriguing.

Hopefully this will push the ultracapacitor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultracapacitor) folks at MIT to make progress on their charge density numbers even faster.
