hows this sound...I got a line on a DMIC-20 but just curious what you guys think before I take the plunge.
It comes with an oade battery and cahrger for $260...thanks

PS- what about any old phantom power for the mikes and an AD20 into the MD? I mean does a phantom power unit really matter...don't they just provide th power...

I got my Rolls PB224 for $50 including shipping from Rolls as B-stock. Pretty nice deal.

and the dmic-20 is BOTH a pre and an a/d converter....so no ad/20 would be necessary.....plus, that would be a suite lil setup, but id rather run a nomad jukebox 3 out of it, no compression and just like a dat....

Go with the dmic, at that price you cant beat it!!!
all you need is mics and a recorder, kind of?
I ran and still have a dmic 20 and it it a GREAT piece of gear, you wont be disappointed
