Laptop recording
« on: November 02, 2003, 02:50:04 PM »
I am going to a local band's show. I am new to recording shows. I would like to use my Laptop to record the show. What will I need to record straight from the soundboard? What is a good (free preferable) program to record with and edit?

Thanks

Welcome to the board!  I'd suggest checking the forums for archived info...there's plenty of info here!  Mostlikely you'll need to get from the sbd to your pc via rca cables...does your lappy have a soundcard that will take rca in??    I think we'll need more info to really help.

As for the free program you can get CDWav.....
