Title: Can you do digital transfers dat deck>Sony d100

Thinking of picking one up, need spdif->toslink cable, right?

You'll need a SPDIF to TOSLINK Digital Format Converter (DFC), like a Hosa ODL-276.  https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ODL276--hosa-odl-276

MAudio used to make them (CO2 and CO3), but I didn't have very good luck with the CO2 years ago. 

Radio Shack also used to make them, but they suffered from frequent drop-outs.

Get the Hosa...

I don't believe the dr100 has a digi in. Just the mk2 and mk3 versions. Maybe  someone with an original dr100 can verify.

I think he meant the Sony D100.

I think i have a Hosa converter somewhere if you need one only 16/48 but if you doing DATs should do the trick. let me know. if i can find it you can use it / have it

You can’t do 32khz though
