tascam DR40 -solution for distortion
« on: June 06, 2016, 10:03:09 AM »
i found out this ,i didn’t know about mics gain with tascam DR 40 and sony m10, too loud sound in concert may spoil recordings, with tascam DR40 it has input level adjustment button on left side of the unit,  which protect recording from exceeding a certain point  too high input level lets your recordings may be distorted, from my guess you’ll  get better the sound without distortion if you adjust input level lower at volume gain 70 percent  ,but when you record live concert with 100 percent volume gain point  i think your recordings may be distorted, solution for the sound distortion is that lower the input level with tascam DR 40, sorry for my poor english,
