Title: 2 8gb sdhc cards with different capacity? is this unusual

I have 2 of the same 8 gb sdhc class 6 cards.

1. capacity of 7.62 gb

2. capacity of 7.41 gb

is this unusual?

No, it's not unusual. I've heard similar reports from my friends.
To be honest, a 8GB card with less than the 8GB capacity is strange enough to begin with. >:D

Open a DOS window and run

     chkdsk <vol:>


There will probably be differences in formatting.
