homemade DVD playback
« on: February 19, 2005, 02:59:12 PM »
I got my dvd player before burning dvds was common, so i dont even think its compatible.  But i brought the DVD+R to my friends house who has a slightly more current player and it didnt work either.
I cant seem to get it to play, so i am not sure if its the disk or the burner or the player.

So some dvd players say they accept DVD-/+Rs....does this mean that if i burned a DVD vid with Nero 6.6, the dvd player must support DVD+R since that's what I used?

thanks

-r's seem to be more compatible with older players i think, at least in my experiences.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.
