Need good ext. mics for Olympus ls-10 for recording lectures
« on: October 05, 2011, 10:13:51 AM »
Hi!
I'm recording a lot of different classes and usually with translation and would like to have a good quality material with balanced recordings. But the internal mics of the ls-10 are not satisfying, I need something with more noice cancelling, probably cardioid mics if I'm right. I read good reviews of Church Audio microphones, they are pretty cheap and my a budget is not big, around 100-150 bucks. I would have probably gotten those, but didn't find any available on the net at the moment.

But other times would be nice to record live concerts also. What would be the best gear to get? Well, budget can also go a little higher if it's really worth it. But really, putting a lot of time and energy into noice removal techniques as a result of a poor recording has really weared me off...

Btw. Best would be for the mics to stand on a table in front of the speaker (speakers), but clips can also be used.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Jaanus
