How to capture a live video web stream
« on: February 27, 2013, 01:59:12 PM »
Some friends of mine are headlining a show on Friday that will be streamed live online and I'd like to capture the stream.   What is the easiest way to do this, especially since I will be at the show?  I use powerdirector for video editing.  Can I use it to capture the stream when it starts and then leave and let it go for a few hours?  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks, gc

VLC can do this

Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

Dear sir ?

Were you able to stream the concert of LIVE ?
I presume this is what you wanted to seam.
Due to the fact that on that day (very nice planned) my eyes were treated with drops for examining my eyes I couldn't see , hardly, anything and was not able to try to stream.
Maybe if you were succesful there is a possibility ? Ii could , someway, get this concert.
Being a really great +LIVE+ fan I would appreciate that.

Thx in advance,
