oktava 101 LD caps...
« on: January 16, 2006, 09:03:27 AM »
any one ever use the Lomo large diaphragm side address capsules for the oktava mk012?  oktava had 'ew for about $100.00 a pair.  I was just looking for another cheap way to expand the verstility of what is already in the gear bag.  I've never used a LD mic and thought this might be a god way to start without dropping the ching for whole new mics.

I've read good reviews of the m1 and m3 heads, but they are about 3x the price as the ones you are mentioning. It was all based on studio stuff though, I never found any taper who had used them.
