Running Phantom Power into my UA-5
« on: June 27, 2006, 09:16:58 PM »
current setup I just upgraded to:
at853s > sp-xlrm-mini-2 (48vphantom) > UA-5 (w-mod) > JB3

So I just put a pair of sp-xlrm-mini-2's and got them modded with 48v phantom. My question is do I have to run a battery box in this setup anymore? I used to mics > battery box > xlrs > ua5 > jb3. The ua-5 is the phantom power obviously, but the battery box has bass roll of will that be needed anymore in my new setup? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

you can take the battery box out of the equation.
