Topic: Buy or not to buy and akg 391 fifteen years old

HI, I'm searching for a single akg 391, i have one now. I found on ebay an interest auction, here the link

I questioned about serial number, working/cosmetic condition and this was his response

Sorry, I can`t find a serial number. I bought the mike about 15 years ago. The function is perfect, actually the mike hasn`nt been used since 1998. Cosmetically you can see that the mike is used. There are some traces of tape and there is still a studio sticker.

what's your opinion? it's an inconvenient those 15 years? I have to question about other aspects?

If it has been taken care of it should not be a problem, I would ask the seller to test the microphone if it hasn't been used.
