Title: Sound Devices Mixpre-D > USB > Android device. Anyone tried?
Post by: Popmarter on February 22, 2012, 05:59:39 AM
I was wondering if anyone has tried recording on a Andriod device (tablet/phone).

Does this work on all units? What app do you need?

"24-bit, class-compliant USB streaming output for interconnection with Mac OS, Windows, Linux, and select iOS devices"

you would have to find one that has a ROM (or is compatable with a ROM) that can act as a USB host and not the attachment. I've looked around in the past and havn't seen any that can or do.
