Sound Devices Mixpre-D > USB > Android device. Anyone tried?
« on: February 22, 2012, 05:59:39 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has tried recording on a Andriod device (tablet/phone).

Does this work on all units? What app do you need?

you would have to find one that has a ROM (or is compatable with a ROM) that can act as a USB host and not the attachment. I've looked around in the past and havn't seen any that can or do.
"This is a common practice we have on the bus; debating facts that we could easily find through printed material. It's like, how far is it today? I think it's four hours, and someone else comes in at 11 hours, and well, then we'll... just... talk about it..." - Jeb Puryear
