GigRac 600 output question...
« on: March 25, 2010, 12:42:21 PM »
So a buddy of mine asked me to record his "barnburner" set at Cowboy Jack's, a bar in a Minneapolis suburb. I'll be running 414s in the room but he would also like me to get a "board" recording. He said he just has a small PA (doesn't sound like he's using the house's PA for some reason) and runs everything into a GigRac 600.

The output situation looks a little iffy. Would I probably just be taking the "Main" outs?

Direct Outputs:     No
Matrix Outputs:    0
Main Bus Out:    Mono

Thank you greatly for any insight!

RCA record output would be my first choice. At least you don't have to split to get two channels.

On a side note, the house PA must suck ass.
Pockets full of nickels and nothing left to eat, and I'm stuck behind a semi on Soniat Street.
