Anyone know an easy/effective way to knock the 12v output down to 9v on this thing? Some sort of adapter?

If anyone cares I was doing a time test on my V3 running the maxoak. So AKG414XLS/ST over the years I have found these mics to be POWER HUNGRY when run with the V3. So after about 5 hours of 414 >V3>COAX > the Maxoak dropped 1 light.
I bought 2 of those batteries. 1 to run the preamp and 1 to run the HDP2. the HDP@ never lost a light during the same timed session.
