Title: edit8 AudioSync Pro for Mac
Post by: edtyre on May 25, 2017, 04:13:55 PM
I don't do much video, mostly a few iphone movies at shows i attend.
I usually sync my mic recording to my video manually using Quicktime 7
which allows you to remove the audio file and paste in a new one without
any effect on the video.

I saw this on The APP Store last week for $4.99
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/edit8-audio-sync-pro-for-imovie-pp-fcpx/id1220986982?mt=12

This works perfect!

I did about twenty songs and all are perfectly synced. I even tryed a 90 minute concert
and it synched up and adjusted for the drift in 5 minutes.

Are you using it with iMovie?
FCP has a built in "synch" via create multicam clip. It's really designed for lining up multiple angles and audio but,you can do it with just one angle and audio

No it's a standalone app. Does a 5 minute clip in a few seconds. If i was a serious video guy i would try FCP
But for the few songs that i film every show, this is perfect. And for 5 bucks it can't be beat.
