Bean,

I've run sbd>V3 on a couple of occasions, and never had an issue (both for Ras M.). If I remember correctly I ended up adding 5-10dB of gain.
Grab the tape out of the board, and if its too hot, have them back it down a teence.

+T moke, i'll def try it out normal during sndchck

and i may be able tohave them back them down a bit since im archiving doodis and know them resal well, i'll just tell the soundguy toback her down ge3ntly

jcaledun and i both ran SBD (balanced signal) >V3>JB3 for yonder shows in oxford, memphis, and knoxville.  no -20 db pad was used... it worked fine...  didn't have to turn up the gain at all though.

ive watched someone do the same thing with ymsb and clip the shit out of his v3...

I keep my V3 in a cage too with a short pair of RA XLR interconnects 'permanently' attached, and taking it apart in the field is something I'd rather not do.

I just keep a pair of these in my bag and use 'em if I get thrown a SBD feed...
