Drag and drop the file to the "My PC Music Library/Recordings"

Then go to your "my documents" folder on your pc, click "My Music/Recordings" folder.

Here is a great site for questions regarding the Nomad.

For the JB3 you have to either install the software that came with the JB3 or buy a 3rd party program called Notmad.  I wold suggest Notmad.

You can also get Creative MediaSource:

http://www.soundblaster.com/mediasource/

I used the older one. This version will probably seems like it would work the JB3.

Not sure if you can (looks like it comes with the cds). I couldn't find anywhere to download it. You may try one of these programs from this link:

http://www.nomadness.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=6

Notman (mentioned earlier) trial is on the second page if you want to try that. Haven't used it myself, but I am sure it will good for you. Hope that helps.

It's still up on the creative site, but the product is marked end of life.

I'd get it while you can and make a back up just in case creative takes it down at some point.

Download Nomad Explorer, it's at the very bottom of the page.  That's the program I use.

Nobility is expensive, nonproductive and parasitic, siphoning away too much of society's energy to satisfy its frivolous cravings.

Some XP installs wont let you add software unless you are logged in on the Admin account...?

Download nomad explorer.

I access my JB3, turned on through My Computer using Nomad Explorer. It only shows up when the JB3 is plugged in and on and connected to my computer. Drag and the files from the JB3 to wherever you want them.

Never had any problems.
