Anyone using their iPhone or Smarphone for this?
« on: May 20, 2013, 09:36:48 PM »
Hello!

Just wondering - we have done some testing with the iPhone, a Tascam IXJ2 and our mics with good results. Seems like an obvious choice?

I don't have an iPhone and probably won't for a long time...but I'd be curious to know how reliable that thing is...and how long can you record for? I would assume that battery power on the iPhone could be an issue.

Are you guys sure you meant to post this topic in the video recording forum?

The Tascam IXJ2 is meant for audio, I believe, right? (although I suppose you might be able to record video simultaneously with a different app)
