Title: 1/8” line/mic in Mix Pre 3/6/10T questions
Post by: down2earthlandscaper on December 30, 2017, 05:21:29 AM
This isn’t clearly evident (to me anyway) from the spec sheet  so I’m hoping someone will know.

Question 1: does the 1/8” jack also have a “Kashmir” preamp, or are those only on the XLR inputs?

Question 2: specs say this jack provides 3V PIP. Would this mean that I would still need to use a 9V battery box between mini mics (such a as CA14 or Countryman’s) in high SPL situations?

Thanks!

No. It’s a pip/ line in jack really only usable as the latter. But works well with a preamp in front of it. I use a littlebox with great success for channels 5 and 6
