Title: SD 744T buffer
Post by: Charlie Miller on January 08, 2018, 04:23:43 PM
I accidentally hit the STOP button while recording the recent Phish run. It was a split-second before hitting record again. I didn't lose any music thanks to the buffer. I have the pre-roll set to 5 seconds (4 channels 2496) which allowed it to remain seamless. I thought that there would be at least one note to patch but when I lined it up with Noah's recordings, it was all there. I had the lights off at one point over battery concerns and made the mistake.

That’s amazing! I think the lack of “pre record” on the mixpre6 is a big deal.

After all these years the 744t is *still* an amazing piece of gear. Glad I still own one...
