Gear for Close Circuit Recording?
« on: March 18, 2010, 09:45:09 PM »
A taper associate of mine, BryRoy, will have an opportunity to see a show from a luxurious skybox with a CC feed from stage cameras.
His first thought was how can I record this video feed?
According to his description a coax cable feeds into thee back of a flat screen.
What is the best gear config to cap this feed.
I told my pal to haul ass over here to find advice. He will sign up soon and pick up on this thread.
Than you all for your time and know how.

Thank you so much Mr.Trade Mark* for your aspergers like response.
Although aspergers excuses your incompetent ability to
indicate precisely what you mean to say in your response.
Which reflect poorly on your vocabulary, intellect,
sexual stability, and mental health, not to mention your genetics, Mr.Aspergers...
Responses to all your threads seem quite polite. A learning disability perhaps explains your response?
As Carlos Santana said "Your mother ain't so bad , what happened to you??"
Smoke some of that legal Oregon weed and mellow out before you judge others.
Is Close Circuit Recording not a kosher question??  If not, I can understand that.unlike your rabid response.
Please explain. Sack up if you have one and elucidate.
No one else here bootlegs do they?? So are you shocked,SHOCKED there's bootlegging going on here. Or what?
I won't negatively characterize you personally (however I would negatively characterize your response )  so, once again thanks kindly sir for your revealing, polite, tolerant and informative reply mark™....
Ad Hominem reaps Ad Hominem.  >:D *Trade Mark = Corporate tyranny, perhaps a suitable moniker.

Apologies to the TS community..

Respectfully.
Hello Mr. Aspergers? er, I mean mark...
I am still waiting for your explanation of your spineless comment.
You have made over 4000 posts but you can't answer me?
With all due respect your comment has confused me and
I politely request you to sack up and reply lest my characterization above may be
considered accurate.
Prove me wrong, if you can.
No one should be subjected to that sort of ad hominem post without expecting this kind of spirited reply...
I have the most respect for this forum and apologize again for this encounter.

Mr. boot, coloartist explained Mr. mark's comment.  Full and clear.  Your choice of screen name reflects a less than full understanding and appreciation of this forum.

You talk about respect. You might want to consider giving some first, and MAYBE someone will return it. Pretty simple. Respect gets respect and when you reply by insulting someone by calling them names...you're probably not going to get a hell of a lot of respect from anyone.

And to answer your question...the best thing you could do to capture the feed is probably bring a DVD recorder with you...or a desktop computer with a video capture card. Obviously both of those items are going to be fairly obvious. Maybe there is something else, but many people on this board frown upon what you are doing (which isn't legal btw), hence the reaction you got, which may or may not have been fair. Sorry.

With all due respect
your comment has confused me and
I politely request you to sack up and reply lest my characterization above may be
considered accurate.
