I looked at the prices.....ouch!! Anyone ever seen one of these in the wild?

there is some talk of these on other threads

they have a few major drawbacks such as they only work well with black vinyl and can't read damaged or worn records as well as a standard turntable

They have been building those since around 1988. I remember when they came out at a then cost of around $2000.00. They had all kinds of glitches and restarts, The company has been sold a number of times and repackaged. Some reviews have raved, while others have pointed out their flaws with difficulties playing less than perfect albums.

I choose to drag the rock through the canyon, though!
