Anybody used a CX-3000 clamp?

I was poking around the Cowboy Studio website and came across this guy.  Kind of a beast at almost 2 pounds, but it looks like it might have some versatility and handle things that are a little too big for a superclamp.  Anybody have experience with one of these?
