Photo Editing Software

I am looking for a few demo's someone may have to programs for photo editting, I want to cut my wife out of all pictures, anyone have something I can try?
No Mics
Clamps
Cables
No Preamp
Recorders

i don't have any but just learn photoshop.  nothing you cant do to photos that you cant do in photoshop.

for me, who doesn't have an ounce of creativity in his body photoshop was a difficult learning experience, but now that i know it any retouching i have to do (dust often gets on negs when they get scanned) is so much better than it was before.

trey-PM sent re photoshop.  certainly the best photo editing software, but may be a bit steep of a learning curve given the number of features.  if you just want basic stuff, Irfanview is pretty good shareware.  http://www.irfanview.com/

oh yeah, forgot, Trey, didn't your camera come with photoshop elements?  it's a dumbed down version but has all the basic photo editing stuf that you are probably going to need.  it probably has about 70% of the features that photoshop CS has.  if all you want to do is add some contrast, adjust color a little bit, sharpen and crop, the elements is likely all that you will need.

wife didn't know it was necessary and tossed it, I think, or misplaced it
