Draining batteries

Don't want the memory effect.  So anyone got any ideas how to drain batteries

this thread suggest
1. Flashlight
2. Portable fan
3. Mouse

I just didn't know if anyone has anything else.  Its 16 AA I need to drain

My Maha charger has a discharge function that works pretty well IME.  Many chargers include this feature - maybe yours does?
