I got a V2 used in the yard sale that came with an eco-charge setup. I plugged it in and the LED indicator light is orange? The charger only mentions yellow, red and green.
I am hoping orange indicates normal charging?

Hasn't eco-charge gone out of business? I see that their website is still up and checked the manuals, but nothing regarding an orange LED.
One thing I might recommend is to just go ahead and replace the SLA. Depending on its age, charging history and storage it is more than likely that the SLA is towards the end of its life. There is a great post (http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=119878.0)in the archive section about how to do this... if I ran a bigger bag I'd probably still be running an eco-charge despite the weight because I love the clean and reliable power they provide. :)

Thanks, yeah I was looking at a replacement SLA on batteryspace, it is only $11 or something....
The light has now turned green indicating full charge. I suspect the orange color indicates normal charging...

It's both yellow & red. ;D

Cool. Definitely do a stress test before using it in the field.
